Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette active against New York Jets – Sports – The Florida Times-Union

Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette is active for Sunday’s game against the New York Jets for the first time since injuring his right hamstring during the season opener Sept. 9.

Fournette is expected to start and be backed up by T.J. Yeldon and Corey Grant.

Fournette was a limited participant in practice Wednesday and Thursday and was a full participant during Friday’s lighter workout. He carried nine times for 41 yards and caught three passes for 14 yards against the New York Giants prior to suffering an injury during the second quarter.

With Fournette active, reserve tailback Brandon Wilds was one of the Jaguars’ seven inactives.
