Jets sign former Bears guard Jordan Morgan

The Jets have additional some depth to their offensive line in the early times of the offseason.

The staff announced Thursday that it signed absolutely free agent guard Jordan Morgan. He is the eighth player the Jets have signed so much in the offseason.

The 24-year-old lineman was a fifth-round choose by the Chicago Bears in 2017 out of Kuztown University of Pennsylvania. Morgan performed in all four of the Bears’ preseason games in 2017 but landed on wounded reserve with a shoulder harm. Eventually, that ended his year.

Morgan bounced back in 2018 and performed in four of the five preseason games. Nonetheless, he was lower appropriate in advance of the start of the year. In October, the Tennessee Titans picked Morgan up for their observe squad, but he only lasted eight weeks.

Morgan has still to perform in a standard year recreation, but the Jets are hoping he can add depth to the trenches as they figure out their offensive line.
