New York Jets Not Planning Immediate Coaching Change Todd Bowles Could Be Safe For Now

By WFAN.com

According to New York Daily News reporter Manish Mehta, the Jets aren’t planning an immediate coaching change.

The Jets suffered an embarrassing 41-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Gang Green has fallen to 3-7 and are on a four-game losing skid.

According to Mehta, the Jets would prefer to keep under-pressure head coach Todd Bowles in place at the moment because of rookie quarterback Sam Darnold’s development.

“My understanding from last night was that the Jets were not planning on making a coaching change right now. It would be the smart move given the current makeup of the staff. The key is to minimize in-season disruption for Sam Darnold,” Mehta tweeted.
