Former New York Jets linebacker and Billings West alum Dylan Donahue has been reinstated by the NFL after his suspension came to an end Tuesday, CBS Sports reported.
Donahue, a 2011 West graduate, was suspended from the league for 14 games for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. The 26-year-old pleaded guilty to a pair of DUI’s he was arrested for in the span of nine months; one in May 2017 in Billings just 10 days after he was drafted and another in February after he was involved in a wrong-way crash in the Lincoln Tunnel in New Jersey.
Donahue was waived by the Jets on the final day of cuts on Sept. 1.
